Five years and growing stronger

Tuesday 1st May 2007

Wilson Vale is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a new look website and announcing sponsorship of the new national forest. Andrew Wilson – director commented
‘This exciting development is literally on our doorstep and it is highly appropriate that with our strong environmental interest we support the scheme. Not only have we planted 50 trees to celebrate our fifth anniversary we have also committed to planting another five for each new client we win. We are of course aspiring to developing a forest!'

The national forest is taking root in the heart of England. Within its 200 square miles are rolling farmlands, former coalfields, and the relics of an industrial past – as well as towns and villages many of which have their past, present and future inextricably linked with business.

This rich mosaic of land uses, framed by woodland is benefiting the community, landscape, environment and business. As a result, economic and social regeneration is being stimulated providing new opportunities for both urban and rural enterprise in one of Europe’s biggest and most innovative regeneration programmes.
